Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of React Boss, an online platform for learning React through live coding, AI-assisted hints, and proctored exit interviews. By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use React Boss.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use React Boss. You sign in with a Google account, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Please give us accurate information and let us know if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

Using the platform

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use React Boss for your own learning. When using the platform, you agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload harmful or malicious code.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or its infrastructure.
• Cheat or manipulate exit interviews, assessments, XP, or certificates, or help others do so.
• Share, resell, or scrape course content, code, or other materials except as expressly allowed.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscriptions and payments

React Boss offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change our prices, and we will give you reasonable notice of any change.

Your content

You keep ownership of the code and other content you create on React Boss. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the platform, including sending relevant parts to our AI provider to generate hints, reviews, and interview feedback. You are responsible for the content you submit and for making sure you have the right to use it.

Intellectual property

The platform, including its curriculum, software, design, and branding, is owned by React Boss and protected by intellectual property laws. Certificates we issue recognize your progress but do not grant any rights in our content or marks.

Disclaimers

React Boss is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that completing it will lead to any particular job, interview, or outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, React Boss will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of React Boss after an update means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using the platform at any time, and we may suspend or end access where necessary to protect the platform or comply with the law.

Privacy

Your use of React Boss is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle your data.
